Our goal is to identify, explain, categorize, and link all objects in the world.  From a 1957 Cheverolet Corvette, to your personal souped up bicycle, to the kitchen beater, to industrial equipment that makes it all, down to the chemicals that it is all made up of.  It is a large, intricate, impossible goal, but though we might not be able to identify it all maybe we can put a dent in it and have a valuable knowledgebase linking all the pieces of a few objects together.  The goal of this site will also be to serve as a  consumer human guide.  We do not just want commercial solutions and commercial products with all the commercial parts it takes to create them.  So we will refuse to just be another consumer guide, and hopefully a forger, maker, doer guide.  We want your own personal ways to craft items to fix things that would otherwise be broken forever.  (How long ago should the antique cars in Cuba have been shipped to a scrap yard?  Oddly they keep chugging.)  So we want to know how to make what you consider to be the best commuter bike ever.  So, you know how to forge the crankcase for a 1975 Kubota Tractor? We too would like to know how you do it.

I guess you could describe it as one of those giant do it yourself auto repair books, but where all the content is added by users and everything is game.  The goal is going to be an open system where you do not have to have all the components of a object to list that object, and therefore you do not have to have an end product to list a component.  Hopefully this can also become a marketplace for the objects as well so that you can say you have this or that object and are willing to part with it...for a price. =)

I will make it a perosnal goal to keep this site relatively ad light, no more than 10% of a page filled by an ad (that might sound big but not if the page is small), and the idea is also to have companies list and represent their own products in special ways for a fee or charging companies selling many items via the site.  At the end of the day though I hope to keep peoples needs on top,  if something is rated poorly by the users of this site there will not be a get out of jail free card regarding that rating or about comments on a particular product, positive or negative we will keep anything that is not tagged as abuse by the user base.

So the main goal here is to have "objects" because everything in the world can be broken down to objects (if you try hard enough.)  Going back to the 1957 Chevrolet Corvette, it is an object, but it is made up of several thousand other objects.  Our goal is to list them all (including the variants and possibillities) and partially to come up with ratings for commercial as well as personal solutions to every object.  So my friends start reverse engineering and researching, and hopefully the communication on this site can help you in the future if we all pitch in.
